Is it actually free?
Yes, while we're in beta. Once we're out of beta there'll be a premium tier for people who want more storage and custom domains, but the core builder stays free forever.
Do I need to know how to code?
Nope. Everything works by dragging, dropping, and clicking. The Custom CSS widget exists for people who want to go off-script, but you can build a fully-featured profile without touching a single line.
How does the Discord presence thing work?
Run /link in any server that has the Chromaticc bot. It gives you a user ID. Paste that into your profile settings and your live status, game, and Spotify show up automatically.
What's "wire mode"?
It's a way to connect widgets together so one controls or feeds another. Connect your Discord presence to a profile card and the card shows your live status. Weird at first, powerful once you get it.
Can I import from Linktree / Carrd / etc?
Import tooling is on the roadmap but not shipped yet. For now it's manual, but most people rebuild their old profile in under 10 minutes because the editor is that fast.
Can I use my own domain?
Custom domains are a premium feature, coming with the paid tier. Free accounts get chromaticc.creepers.lol/yourname which is honestly a pretty good URL.
What if I make something and hate it?
⌘Z works. So does clear canvas. You can start over as many times as you want — nothing's locked in until you save.
